Alstroemeria Farmstay is a cozy bamboo cottage sitting amidst an alstroemeria garden with deep valley views of the Singtam Tea Garden. Located at just 20 mins drive from the hustle-bustle of Darjeeling, in the quaint village of Gurung Busty in West Bengal. The farm stay gets its name from the flower garden of Alstroemeria flowers, giving the stay a colorful magical view in the full blossom month – March.
It’s the perfect nature stay if you are looking for a blissful detox getaway for yourself or for a romantic getaway in the woods to propose to your better half 😊. This one is for you.
Take a visual tour of the cottage here:-
Rahul Gurung, the owner of the farm stay, has built an amazing organic vegetable garden for the guests to pick their own vegetables for the menu. Yes, you can cook your own food with the vegetables from their garden. Also, you can have a barbeque night with a bonfire, right in front of the cottage. Rahul is an amazing host, makes every effort to make your stay the most comfortable & memorable one in the mountains. He will arrange a pick-up & drop for you if required.
I was here in the month of November 2021 and will certainly mark it as One of the best stays ever in my life. It’s worth spending every penny.
